Is it safe for nonstick pans?
Yes, the Geo Ground Meat Cooking Tool is made from premium quality Nylon 66 and silicone materials that will not scratch non-stick surfaces.
Does meat get stuck in the grid?
We carefully considered this when designing the Geo! When you create injection mold utensils you can apply a variety of different textures to them. We decided to NOT apply texture to the inside walls of the grid on the bottom of the tool, so food slips easily right out and washes up nicely.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes, the Geo Ground Meat Cooking Tool is easy to clean! You can simply pop it in the dishwasher or even hand wash. Because the interior walls of the grid are not textured, food easily washes right off!
How is it different from a “star” tool?
Similar to traditional utensils like wooden spoons and spatulas, the “star” tools work great to break up the larger pieces of meat, but do not effectively break up the smaller pieces. You are still required to chop constantly to break up all of the meat. The Geo is purpose-engineered to cook ground beef from start to finish with a dual-function design: Front blade chops up large pieces and the patented grid design on bottom rapidly breaks meat into fine, uniform crumbles. The grid works by trapping and smashing stubborn pieces of meat that can slip out from other utensils.
Can it be used for turkey, sausage, plant-based meat?
Yes, the Geo Ground Meat Cooking Tool works great on all types of ground meat, including ground chicken, ground turkey, ground sausage, and even plant-based meat!
